Forty Creek Barrel Select is a Canadian whisky, a blend of various grain whiskies. It was created to revitalise the Canadian whisky category, from a distillery that laid down its first stock in 1992.
The blend is aged in a mix of seasoned ex-Bourbon barrels and new American white oak, giving a full flavour profile.
On the palate it is robust, with toffee, oak, white pepper and malt spice. The finish is long and smooth, with hints of spice.
