Four Roses – Bourbon (1L, 40%)

Four Roses Bourbon is an American whiskey from Kentucky, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% abv. It is made with five different yeasts and two grain mixes, which gives ten distinct flavour profiles. Each one is matured separately in American white oak for five to six years before they are all brought together. Gold in colour, it has a sweet nose of vanilla, malt, fruit and spice. The palate shows rye, corn, floral and fruity notes, spices, a hint of vanilla, roasted nuts and oak. The finish is long, woody and citrus-tinged.
