Four Roses Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Four Roses Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, bottled at 100 proof (50%) in a 750ml bottle. Each bottling comes from one barrel, hand-selected by the Master Distiller at maturity, typically between 7 and 9 years old. The standard release uses the OBSV recipe, a high-rye mash bill of 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley with a yeast known for delicate fruit and floral character. The barrel number and recipe code are printed on the label, and the bourbon is non-chill filtered. The nose is fruity, spicy and floral, with pear, cocoa, vanilla and maple syrup. The palate shows ripe plum, cherry, caramel and baking spices, and the finish carries fruit, soft leather and warm spice.
