Four Roses – Small Batch Bourbon (70cl, 45%)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in oak casks and made by blending four different whiskeys. The distillery works with two yeast strains, which allows it to make two styles of Four Roses bourbon. Each cask is checked by the master distiller before it is released for bottling. The nose is fruit and spicy caramel with brown sugar and a touch of oak. The palate brings ripe berries and vanilla with fine spice, and the finish is long, soft and smooth.
