Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut is the cask strength version of the Fallon, Nevada estate distillery's four grain bourbon. It is non chill filtered and bottled without dilution at 62.15% ABV (124.3 proof), with the strength varying from batch to batch.
The corn, winter wheat, winter rye and malted barley are grown on the family farm, where the whiskey is also distilled, matured and bottled. It spent an average of five years in new charred American oak.
The nose brings caramelised creme brulee, cinnamon, nutmeg and green apple. The palate is pastry-like, with birthday cake frosting, dried stone fruit and cloves, and the finish is long and warming with toasted oak and molasses.
