Fukano Distillery – Japanese Rice Whisky 2022/2023 Edition (75cl)

This is the 2022/2023 edition of Fukano Distillery's Japanese rice whisky, in a 75cl bottle. It comes from Hitoyoshi City in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Fukano has been making spirits since 1823, and Shigeruriku Fukano is the fifth generation of the family to run the distillery. Water comes from the Kuma River, which also supplies Ohishi Distillery, a few towns away. Both distilleries are known for a minerality and texture that the river water is credited with.
