Futura Riserva Barrique is an aged grappa from Domenis. It has a warm amber tone from its time in wood. The nose is balanced, with vanilla, toasted wood and a hint of dried fruit, while the alcohol warmth is present but controlled. On the palate it is round and enveloping, with wood giving softness and a slight final dryness, plus a spicy nuance. The finish is pleasant, with honey and bitter cocoa. It suits after-dinner sipping or pairing with dark chocolate and aged cheeses.
