Gentleman's Cut Player Exclusive Shacho is an 11 year old Kentucky straight bourbon finished in Mizunara oak from Hokkaido, Japan. It is bottled at 52.5% ABV (105 proof), and only 850 bottles were produced.
The name comes from the Japanese word shacho, meaning leader.
The nose brings Kyara incense, sandalwood, coconut and warm spice. On the palate are cinnamon, toasted oak and a subtle sweetness, with an exotic woody note. The finish is long, with evolving spice, soft sweetness and a lingering Mizunara depth.
