Gilles Brisson XO is a Cognac from the Grande Champagne cru, labelled 1er Cru de Cognac. It is bottled at 40% abv in a 70cl bottle.
It has been aged for considerably longer than the rules require, and it is made from eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region. The aim is a Cognac with a soft, complex character that will appeal to those who value tradition.
The nose shows a touch of apple and icing sugar. The palate is classic and full, with notes of chocolate, rum, earth and vanilla.
