This is a 25 year old blended malt Scotch whisky, made as a limited edition to mark the Queen Mother's 90th birthday. It was bottled in 1990 at 40% ABV and produced by The Speyside Distillery Company Ltd.
It comes in a 75cl cut crystal decanter with a crystal stopper, together with a silk-lined box and a numbered certificate.
The nose is light, sweet and cool, with honey. The palate is also light, herby and syrupy, recalling a dewy summer morning. The finish is medium in length, with garden herbs, apples and chocolate.
