Glasgow 1770 Triple Distilled White Port Cask Finish is a six-year-old single malt from the Glasgow Distillery, distilled on 9 December 2019. It spent just over four years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then 19 months in white port French oak hogsheads.
Two casks were married for this small-batch release of 730 bottles, bottled at 53.3% without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose brings green apple, citrus and floral honey with light vanilla. The palate is creamy, with sweet vanilla, bright fruit and pronounced honey. The finish is long, with ripe peach, floral notes and fine citrus.
