1770 Glasgow 2018 Peated Best Dram (70cl, 58.7%)

This is a peated single malt from the Glasgow Distillery, distilled in 2018 and released as an independent bottling under the Best Dram label. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 58.7%. A distillery called Dundashill stood on the Glasgow site in 1770 and was among the first to be licensed. Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall revived that history in 2014 by founding the Glasgow Distillery. It is one of the few urban whisky distilleries in Scotland, with four pot stills and an output of about 440,000 litres of alcohol a year.
