A peated single malt from the Glasgow Distillery in the Lowlands, released as part of the Awakening Series. It is an original bottling from the distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 59.7% ABV.
The distillery was founded in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall. Its site had already held a distillery in 1770, called Dundashill, which was among the first licensed whisky distilleries. Glasgow is now one of the few city distilleries in Scotland making whisky, running four pot stills that yield roughly 440,000 litres of alcohol a year.
