Glasgow 1770 Peated is a single malt from the Glasgow Distillery, made in a rich and smoky style.
It matured in first-fill ex-sherry casks and was finished in new oak. It is bottled at natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose has spiced orange and a hint of quince alongside floral smoke. On the palate come toasted oak and burnt sugar, with a growing fullness of dried fruit. The finish is lightly nutty, with earthy peat still lingering.
