Glasgow 1770 The Original Cask Strength Batch 02 (70cl, 59.5%)

Glasgow 1770 The Original Cask Strength Batch 02 is a single malt from The Glasgow Distillery, released in November 2024 as a limited edition of 750 bottles. It is made from unpeated, double-distilled malted barley and bottled at 59.5% ABV. The whisky matured first in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, then spent a finishing period in heavily charred virgin American white oak casks from Kelvin Cooperage. It is described as fruity, with Seville orange marmalade, dried apricot, toffee apple, poached pear and toasted pineapple, alongside rich dark fruits and a vanilla finish.
