Glasgow 1770 The Original Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Glasgow 1770 The Original is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from The Glasgow Distillery, and the first expression released under the Glasgow 1770 name. It is made with concerto malted barley and water from Loch Katrine, fermented for at least 72 hours and distilled very slowly. The spirit matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finishing period in virgin American oak barrels. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour. It is described as fresh and fruity, with red berries, vanilla, pear and honey, and a long, spicy finish.
