The Original is the first expression from Glasgow 1770, a single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from concerto malted barley and water from Loch Katrine.
Fermentation runs for at least 72 hours, followed by a very slow distillation. The spirit is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and then finished in virgin American oak barrels.
It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, and is described as fresh and fruity.
