Glasgow 1770 Triple Distilled is a Lowland single malt from the Glasgow Distillery, bottled at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The spirit is triple distilled and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels together with virgin oak barrels. The distillery was named Distillery of the Year at the Scottish Whisky Awards in 2020.
The nose is tea cake, candied peel, a touch of well-roasted coffee and puff pastry. On the palate come fresh green pear and apricot, soft malt, sugared coffee and a subtle caraway spice. The finish is honey on brioche with cut grass.
