This Glen Elgin was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2026 at 12 years old by Alba Trail. It was matured in an Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled at 46% ABV, and the fruity, malty house style of the Speyside distillery meets the influence of the Oloroso.
The nose shows orange, marzipan and chocolate mousse. The palate turns to plum jam, malty sweetness, cocoa powder and fine chocolate.
