A Glen Elgin single malt from Speyside, distilled on 20th January 2014 and bottled on 16th April 2025 under the Lady Of The Glen name. It is 11 years old and began its maturation in a hogshead.
The whisky was then finished for over six years in a first fill ex-Amontillado sherry cask from the Josafer cooperage. Glen Elgin's long fermentation and worm tub condensation contribute to a fruity spirit, and the finishing cask adds chocolate and spice.
It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.3% ABV, and the cask yielded 236 bottles. The taste is described as stewed strawberries, nutmeg and chocolate coffee beans.
