Glen Garioch 10 Year Old 2013 – Cadenhead's Original Collection (70cl, 46%)

This is a ten-year-old Glen Garioch from the Highlands, distilled in 2013 and bottled by Cadenhead's in early 2024 as part of its Original Collection. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Maturation was in Oloroso sherry casks, which give a deep colour and a robust structure. It is a classic Oloroso maturation rather than a sweet PX style. The nose brings dark sherry, raisins, walnuts and orange peel, with malty warmth and spice. The palate is full, with dried fruit, caramel, nutmeg and a light earthiness. The finish is long, dry and spicy, with sherry lingering.
