Glen Garioch – 10 Year Old Premier Barrel (70cl, 46%)

This is a 10-year-old Highland single malt from Glen Garioch, drawn from a single cask and bottled by Douglas Laing at 46% in a 70cl ceramic flask. It belongs to the Premier Barrel range, which pairs youngish single malts with tongue-in-cheek, alliterative tasting notes. This one is billed as a Hyperbolically Hearty Highland Malt. The notes point to honey on buttered toast on the nose, followed by a creamy palate with plenty of vanilla.
