This Glen Garioch is an 11 year old Highland single malt bottled for The Ultimate at cask strength, 59.2%. It was distilled on 21 December 2011, matured in two bourbon barrels and bottled on 10 July 2023, producing 481 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose pairs peach and apricot with earthier minerals, malt and a little wood. The palate starts surprisingly fresh, with melon, mango and bitter orange, then green tea and pepper. The finish is medium in length, with malt, stone fruit and spice.
