This is a 12 year old single malt from the Glen Garioch distillery in the Highlands, introduced in 2009 as part of a new core range. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered.
The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose is heathery and floral, with poached pears and malted barley sweetness. On the palate there is crème brûlée and ripe banana, then light oak and pear. The finish is long, smooth, creamy and fragrant.
