Glen Garioch 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, made at Oldmeldrum in a distillery founded in 1797. It is matured in a combination of American bourbon and sherry casks, and comes in a 1 litre bottle.
The profile pairs sweet malt with gentle spice and fruit. On the palate there is honeyed barley, ripe pear, green apple and vanilla, with toasted oak, cinnamon and a little nutmeg. The finish is gently warming, with lingering malt sweetness and soft oak.
