Glen Garioch – 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Glen Garioch 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV. It is described as a good partner for Parmigiano-Reggiano: the dryness of the cheese is bound with the malt, whose sweet fruitiness and clean barley notes it brings out. The colour is that of sharp honey. The nose combines heathery floral notes with poached pears and sweet malted barley. The palate opens with crème brûlée and ripe banana, then a light oakiness and pear fruit, leading to a long, smooth, creamy and fragrant finish.
