Glen Garioch 12 Year Old is a single malt the colour of sharp honey. Its sweet fruit and clean barley character are set off by the dryness of Parmigiano-Reggiano, a cheese it is said to pair well with.
On the nose, heathery floral notes sit alongside poached pears and sweet malted barley. The palate opens with crème brûlée and ripe banana, then a light oakiness and pear fruit. The finish is long, smooth, creamy and fragrant.
