This is an 11 year old Highland single malt from Glen Garioch, bottled by WM Cadenhead, which describes itself as Scotland's oldest independent bottler. It was matured in a combination of bourbon and fino sherry casks.
It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colour, and is a limited release.
The nose combines fresh honey, toasted oak and subtle floral notes with a hint of dried fruit. The palate brings creamy vanilla, ripe orchard fruits and soft spice, and the finish is long and warming, with a touch of nuttiness and lingering citrus zest.
