Glen Garioch 12 Year Old is a single malt matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is heathery and floral, with poached pears and malted barley, and the whisky has the colour of sharp honey. Crème brûlée and ripe banana lead the palate, followed by light oak and pear. The finish is long and smooth, with fruit, honey and some spiced oak.
