Glen Garioch 12 Years is a Highland single malt from a distillery founded in 1797. It matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks and is bottled unfiltered at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is balanced and floral, with heather, rich poached pears, honey and sweet malted barley. The palate has a smooth, soft body with crème brûlée and ripe sweet bananas, followed by fine wood notes and pear fruit. The finish is fairly long and complex.
