This is a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glen Garioch, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 53.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose recalls warm, freshly baked buttered buns, with raisins, cinnamon and mixed citrus peel over a soft dough glazed with apricot and honey. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with raisin brioche, sugar glaze and orange peel spiced with nutmeg. The finish is long, with raisins, dates and warm buttered toast.
