This is a 17 year old Highland single malt from Glen Garioch, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2026 from a single first-fill Amontillado sherry cask. It is bottled at 52.2% ABV.
The Amontillado cask adds a nutty, fruity influence to the distillery's robust malt character.
Fig and candied orange lead the nose, followed by beeswax, honey and toffee, with earthy and lightly yeasty notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with roasted pecans, dates and tangerine zest over sweet malt and toffee. The finish is medium to long, with brown sugar, gentle wood, caramel and roasted walnut.
