Glen Garioch – 1966 Single Cask Exclusively For Oddbins (70cl, 43%)

A single cask Glen Garioch distilled in 1966 and bottled by the distillery in the 1990s exclusively for Oddbins. It is a Highland single malt at 43%, in a 70cl bottle. Almost all Glen Garioch made before 1975 was heavily peated, giving a style comparable to the Broras and Ardbegs of the same eras. Distillates of this kind are described as oily, phenolic and farmy, with wax, strong smoke and ripe fruit.
