Glen Garioch – 1988 32 Year Old Family Reserve (Càrn Mòr)

This is a 32 year old Highland single malt from Glen Garioch, and the first release in Càrn Mòr's Family Reserve series from Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. It was distilled in October 1988, matured in a single bourbon barrel and bottled in August 2021. It comes in a wooden display box. Chairman Brian Morrison, whose family owned Glen Garioch during the 1980s, selected the cask personally. Notes of vanilla, honey, orchard fruits and citrus are joined by polished oak, gentle spice and subtle herbal touches.
