This Glen Garioch is a 13 year old Highland single malt, bottled by Murray McDavid in a limited release at 52.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024.
After maturation it was finished in Saint-Julien wine barriques. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose shows dark berries, cherry and a touch of vanilla. The palate is full, with oak, chocolate and subtle spice, and the wine cask adds ripe fruit and gentle tannin. The finish is long.
