This Glen Garioch was distilled on 14 June 2011 and bottled in autumn 2023 at 11 years old. It belongs to Claxton's Warehouse No. 1 series and was matured in a first fill Moscatel barrique, with 189 bottles filled.
Toffee, aniseed, Battenberg cake, vanilla and a hint of thyme lead the nose. The palate starts with sweet malt before dessert notes of cream and vanilla custard appear. The finish is sweet again, with more vanilla, oak and Madeira cake.
