This Glen Garioch is a single cask Highland malt, distilled on 25 April 2011 and matured for eight years in a bourbon cask. The independent bottler The Single Cask Ltd bottled it on 26 April 2019 at a cask strength of 62.4%, in a 70cl bottle. The outturn is 220 bottles.
It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The bourbon cask adds spice to a fruity malt.
The nose is light and delicate, with rosehip, malt, grist, fruity hints and gentle oak. The palate is sweet and spicy, with vanilla, gooseberry and citrus. The finish carries vanilla, oak, woody spice and a touch of citrus.
