Glen Grant 10 Year Old is a single malt from Rothes, matured for a minimum of 10 years in ex-bourbon casks and sold in a 1 litre bottle. The casks give it a golden colour.
The distillery traces its history to 1840 and its founders, the brothers James and John Grant. It was a pioneer of tall, slim stills fitted with a purifier, which refines the spirit further.
The nose is sweet with malted barley, honey, vanilla, bitter almond and a fruity background. The palate is light-bodied, with honey, dried apricot, liquorice, walnuts and hazelnuts, and the finish is medium with a lingering almond note.
