This is a 15 year old single malt from Glen Grant in Speyside, bottled at batch strength of 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered.
The whisky was matured for 15 years in selected ex-bourbon oak casks. It is described as fruity, spiced and robust.
The nose offers ripe fruit such as caramelised apple and pear, with honey, toffee and a delicate floral touch. On the palate come sweet malt, fresh citrus, cinnamon and nutmeg over vanilla and toasted oak. The finish is long, balancing fruity sweetness with subtle spice.
