Glen Grant 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured in hand-selected ex-bourbon barrels and rebuilt hogsheads. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with no added colouring, and it has a bright golden colour.
The character joins floral notes with malty caramel, vanilla and dried raisins, along with butterscotch and gentle spice. Glen Grant was founded in 1840 by the brothers John and James Grant.
The nose is rich and floral, with clear oak and a hint of baking spices. The palate brings malty caramel and vanilla with delicate dried raisins, and the long finish stays sweet with fine nutty notes and light spice.
