Glen Grant – 1950 65 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail for Wealth Solutions (70cl, 59.3%)

This Glen Grant was distilled in 1950 and matured for 65 years in a single sherry butt, cask 2747, before being bottled in 2015 by Gordon & MacPhail for Wealth Solutions. It is the second release in the Glen Grant Trilogy project. The cask was filled at 63.5% and the whisky was bottled at 59.3%, at natural strength and colour and without chill-filtration. Just 218 bottles were filled, each presented in a crystal decanter inside a mahogany box, with a book by Charles MacLean written for the release.
