First-fill Oloroso sherry finish
A 27 year old Glen Keith from 1993, matured in bourbon hogsheads and then finished for 16 months in two first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. It comes from the Mission Gold series by Murray McDavid, with 642 bottles filled. The nose shows tropical fruit, gingerbread and fruity malt. On the palate are sweet oranges, honeycomb and gentle oak. The finish is lasting, with candied fruit and a delicate touch of ginger.
