A single malt from Glen Keith on Speyside, bottled independently by Signatory Vintage. The distillery closed in 1999 and reopened in 2013 with extra capacity. This one was distilled on 11 September 1996 and bottled on 7 July 2023, after 26 years in a second fill Oloroso sherry butt.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 58%, in an outturn of 635 bottles. The casks were chosen personally by Andrew Symington, owner of Signatory Vintage.
The nose is intense, with flowers, vanilla, young raspberries, plums and cinnamon. The palate balances fruit and wood, with orange, peach, apple, pepper and tobacco. The finish is long, leaning towards fruit and nuts.
