This is a Glen Keith single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2013 at 46% for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range.
It matured in refill sherry hogsheads and is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose offers apple peel, dried banana chips and allspice, with hints of overripe grapes, boiled sweets and dark chocolate. Black pepper, mixed spices and cooked fruit lead the palate, with cedar and honey underneath. The finish is long and spicy, with dried herbs and berries.
