This is a 10 year old Glen Ord bottled by The Whisky Chamber, an independent German bottler. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023 at 56.6%, in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky matured in an Oloroso barrel, and the outturn is 320 bottles.
The tasting notes give a nose of peach, a little orange and nectarine, sherry, dark fruit and porridge. The palate shows restrained sherry notes, candied fruit and a lightly sweet maltiness. The finish is long and round, with the sherry notes lingering.
