Glen Scotia 10 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt that spends its whole ten years of maturation in first-fill bourbon casks. It has an amber colour and is bottled at 40% ABV, a strength that is unusual for Glen Scotia.
On the nose there is sea spray, sliced apple, lemon peel and toasted oak. The palate brings soft syrup with cane sugar, oranges, oak and vanilla, and the long finish carries gentle ground ginger and a cinnamon warmth.
