This is a 10 year old single malt from the Glen Scotia distillery in Campbeltown, in a 75cl bottle.
It is aged entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. The flavour profile combines rich oils, green fruit and citrus with a maritime character.
The nose offers sea spray, sliced apple, lemon zest and toasted oak. On the palate are syrup, melted brown sugar, orange marmalade, tangy pineapple and creamy vanilla oak. The finish is long, with gentle ground ginger and cinnamon spice.
