This is a 10 year old unpeated single malt from Glen Scotia in Campbeltown, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made without peat smoke, so the character comes from fruit and a maritime freshness instead.
The nose has fresh apples, pears and citrus together with vanilla, honey and a light sea breeze. The palate is soft and round, with malt, caramel and light fruit, and a little spice and a salty note. The finish is medium in length, mild and slightly dry, with maritime hints.
