An 11 year old lightly peated Glen Scotia single malt, released for the 2023 Campbeltown Malts Festival. After its main maturation it spent a further 12 months in white port casks.
The result combines spiced orchard fruit with the soft smoke and sea salt of Campbeltown.
The nose offers spiced stone fruit, stewed white peach, cloves and a little lemongrass, with a mineral edge. On the palate there is molasses and caramel sweetness with prune and fig, waxy wood and a gentle sandalwood spice. The finish is long and fragrant.
