This is a 12-year-old single malt from Glen Scotia, the third edition in the Icons of Campbeltown series.
It is named after The Wulver, a wolf-headed figure from Campbeltown folklore who looks fearsome but is gentle. According to the legend, the Wulver lived alone in a cave dug into a wooded hill, spent the days fishing and shared the catch with the poorest people of the town, never expecting thanks in return.
That quiet generosity is described as the DNA of Campbeltown.
